There are 15,000 cruise ship job vacancies to be filled every year, just to keep up with all the new mega cruise ships being launched.

The cruise industry is one of the fastest growing job sectors in the world!

I am strongly advise you to apply directly to the cruise lines that interest you, this is the best way. If you have a good referred local agent by good seamen currently working on board, that will be great too!

Cruising is now the largest growing leisure and travel job industry in the world and looking for new cruise staff who are experienced working in areas such as hotel, casino, beauty therapy, photography, security, retail, food and beverage, administration, entertainers, hotel personnel, IT, lecturers, Security personnel, travel staff, health and fitness, tour coordinator and many more.

Whatever your background and job experience is, you will find that there are great employment opportunities for you to work on board a cruise ship.

However while you are applying a cruise ship job, please pay special attention to the jobs that are normally filled by the same nationality.

Cruise ship job vacancies in the engine room or on deck to be filled by the same nationality as the ship’s officers, it is important for communication or language purpose while cruising.

Most of the ship officers are Norwegian, Greek, or Italian, with a handful of British and American ships. Many of the technical crew jobs in the engine room or on deck are staffed with Filipinos.

They also employ unskilled workers at entry level for certain jobs. Most of the larger cruise lines have a cadet training scheme on board their ships.

Job contracts offered by cruise lines are usually of four to six months duration, which are renewable.

Most cruise lines post job openings, application forms, and information about how to apply on their own websites. Be sure to follow the posted application procedures to the letter.

ABSTRACT:

Sudden death of broiler birds of above 40 days was suddenly increased in the month of August 2008 in Kathmandu valley. Birds which were presented for post-mortem examination in Central Veterinary Laboratory Tripureswor Kathmandu were usually found dead on their backs with wings out-stretched. Incidence of this condition recorded was between 1.5 to 2.5% of the flock. The mean mortality due to sudden death syndrome was 1.3 – 9.6% and mortality was peak after 6 week of age. Post-mortem necropsies of birds affected by Sudden Death Syndrome were well-fleshed with edema and general pulmonary congestion. Feed was present along the entire digestive tract and the gall bladder was empty. The liver and kidneys were slightly congested and have patchy subcapsular hemorrhage. The heart was containing clotted blood in the atria and the ventricles are most often empty. Microbial and Mycobial culture of tissue samples of liver, lung, spleen, Proventriculus revealed in majority of samples the growth of Penicillium and Aspergillus spp of fungus and E.coli and Staphylococcus spp of bacteria. On feed restriction, supplementation of glucose containing electrolyte, liquid toxin binder, Immunomodulaters, acidifier and antibiotic reduced the mortality. The condition seems to be related to fast growth rate . In extreme situations, feed restriction need to be practiced which will virtually eliminate sudden death syndrome. A practical approach seems to use diets with 5-7% reduction in nutrient density. Giving more space and supportive treatment with anti-stress medicine may be beneficial.

During the first week of August 2008 there sudden increase in mortality of broilers of above 6 week age. Just before death birds appear normal and it is common to observe that these birds will be feeding, drinking or walking normally. Birds exhibit clinical signs such as extending their neck, squawk and start wing beating as well as leg extension before fall back on their back and birds used to die suddenly.
Review of literatures:

Sudden Death Syndrome is an acute heart failure disease that affects mainly male fast growing chickens that seem to be in good condition. The birds suddenly start to flap their wings, lose their balance, sometimes cry out, and then fall on their backs or sides and die; usually all within a minute (Satya 1).Sudden Death Syndrome kills 0.1% to 3% of broilers in European Countries. UK survey of broiler ascites and sudden death syndrome in 1993(The Welfare of Broiler Chicken 2). H.A. Upandra reported that Broilers that die of sudden death syndrome show no specific abnormalities. Birds usually male, appear healthy and are often above average flock body weight. Just before death birds appear normal and it is common to observe that these birds will be feeding, drinking or walking normally. Birds exhibit clinical signs such as extending their neck, squawk and start wing beating as well as leg extension before fall back on their back. Hence some farmers call this condition as cases of heart attack. Death occurs within minutes. Post mortem examination fails to exhibit any specific lesion. Hence it is also considered as a Behavioral Disease. However many workers who recorded behavioral pattern of birds concluded that there is no single behavior pattern can be attributed to this condition.

Pathology of sudden death syndrome is studied many workers and they found that birds affected by sudden death syndrome are always well-fleshed with edema and general pulmonary congestion. Feed is present along the entire digestive tract and the gall bladder is usually empty. The liver and kidneys may be slightly congested and have patchy subcapsular hemorrhage. The heart may contain clotted blood in the atria and the ventricles are most often empty. The edematous lung observed in cases of SDS was thought to be the contributing factor of death but in all probabilities it is a normal observation in birds that on their back for some time.

A number of studies have been aimed at correlating changes in tissue mineral, electrolyte and fat content as it relates to Sudden Death Syndrome. Sudden Death Syndrome affected birds showed elevated levels of liver calcium and reduced iron in lungs and kidneys. A small but statistically significant reduction in the potassium content and an increase in sodium content of heart tissue are also reported in Sudden Death Syndrome birds. However it is not known if these changes are causative or the consequence of Sudden Death Syndrome.

Because female broilers have a much lower incidence of Sudden Death Syndrome and Leghorns of either sex rarely show the condition, a comparative study was made in male broiler birds using either female broilers or Leghorn birds as control in studying the blood parameters. Male birds consistently exhibited elevated levels of blood glucose, Blood uric acid and lactate dehydrogenase as compared to females birds. As far as blood electrolyte study is considered, Sudden Death Syndrome birds had higher levels of blood potassium. These data again pose the question of how to interpret biochemical profiles of Sudden Death Syndrome birds, because in most instances, birds have been dead for some time prior to blood sampling.

Other factors such as diet texture and restriction programs have been studied with a view to isolating causative agents in Sudden Death Syndrome . It is reported that feed restriction can reduce mortality due to Sudden Death Syndrome in broiler chicks but feed restriction can reduce the body weight of these birds. It is concluded that Sudden Death Syndrome can be prevented by growing birds at a slower rate.

Diet protein per se seems to have little effect on Sudden Death Syndrome . Relatively little research aimed at investigating the role of dietary aminoacids on incidence of SDS is taken up. Taurine is considered to be a non-essential amino-acids for poultry. While avian species are assumed to synthesize sufficient taurine, reduced cardiac taurine levels have been associated with heart tissue degeneration in turkeys. Furazolidone is known to cause heart muscle degeneration in turkeys and this is accompanied by reduction in tissue taurine levels. Feeding up to 0.2% taurine to broilers resulted in a small reduction in incidence of Sudden Death Syndrome.

Use of various sources of energy in the diet has also been suspected in affecting the occurrence of Sudden Death Syndrome. The replacement of carbohydrate by fat is suspected to be a factor. The occurrence of Sudden Death Syndrome seems to be increased by feeding hydrogenated fat such as coconut oil as compared to birds fed comparable levels of unsaturated sunflower oil.

Biotin has been singled out most frequently among vitamins as a possible factor in Sudden Death Syndrome. It is suggested that biotin may be an important factor in increasing the occurrence of Sudden Death Syndrome if it is complicated by the incidence of fatty liver and kidney syndrome. The Sudden Death Syndrome seems to be worse when biotin is marginal and other Vitamin B are in excess.

Among many drugs used in poultry the role of anticoccidial drugs perhaps have received more attention than other drugs. There is some evidence of higher Sudden Death Syndrome mortality when anticoccidial drugs are used. Historically the occurrence of Sudden Death Syndrome does coincide with the introduction of the ionophore anticoccidials. However the involvement of ionophores in Sudden Death Syndrome is far from clear and typical pathological lesion of ionophore toxicity have not been reported in Sudden Death Syndrome diagnosed birds.

It is obvious that there is no one treatment or preventive system for the control of SDS in broilers. The condition is undoubtedly related to fast growth rate and as such management techniques to reduce the early maximum genetic potential for growth after the best preventive measure. One of the most successful techniques used to hamper early growth rate is a step-down lighting programme. Broilers are subjected to reduced day light between 5-18 day of growth. This effectively reduces feed intake and so hampers early growth rate. In extreme situations, feed restriction can also be practiced and this will virtually eliminate Sudden Death Syndrome. A practical approach is to use diets with 5-7% reduction in nutrient density. Giving more space and supportive treatment with anti-stress medicine may be beneficial (H.A. Upandra). Sudden death syndrome in fast growing broiler chickens has been recognized as a patho-physiological entity for four decades, but its pathogenesis still remains unknown. More recent investigations provided evidence that link SDS to cardiac arrhythmia, but the mechanism triggering arrhythmogenesis and factors responsible for fatal outcome are poorly understood. In order to understand the chain of events leading to Sudden Death Syndrome in broilers, the present study focused on putative mechanisms that trigger arrhythmia and mechanisms that predispose the myocardium to fatal arrhythmia. Susceptibility of broilers to cardiac arrhythmia under stress conditions was evaluated using a simulated stress test with epinephrine. Detailed histopathological evaluation of the broiler heart was undertaken to identify structural features that may predispose the myocardium to fatal arrhythmia. The simulated stress challenge revealed that many broilers are highly susceptible to stress induced cardiac arrhythmia. In some broilers the stress challenge induced severe ventricular arrhythmia, and the life threatening nature of this arrhythmia was evidenced by the fact that several birds showing the most severe arrhythmic responses, died suddenly within several days after the stress challenge. Examination of hearts of broilers that died of Sudden Death Syndrome revealed microscopic lesions in the cardiomyocytes, and widespread changes in the sub-endocardial and mural His-Purkinje system (HPS). Immune staining for Caspase-3 confirmed that numerous Purkinje cells in the left ventricular myocardium from broiler chickens that died of SDS were undergoing apoptosis. The observed lesions suggest that the electrical stability of the myocardium was compromised. Taken together, our findings indicate that stress is a most likely trigger of cardiac arrhythmia in broilers, whereas the pathological changes seen in the myocardium and in the HPS in fast growing broilers provide a very conducive milieu for sustained ventricular arrhythmia. In cases where the electrical stability of the myocardium is compromised, even an episodic arrhythmic event may readily degenerate to catastrophic ventricular fibrillation and sudden death. We conclude that the combination of stress and changes in the cardiomyocytes and HPS are the key requisite features in the pathogenesis of SDS (4 A A Olkowski, C Wojnarowicz, S Nain, B Ling, J M Alcorn, B Laarveld). A condition of broiler chickens of unknown cause, possibly metabolic. It can be induced by lactic acidosis and about 70% of birds affected are males(5 www.thepoultrysite.com/diseaseinfo/146/sudden-death-syndrome-flipover ). Sudden death syndrome usually occurs in heavy, fast-growing and healthy-looking broilers. Most of the affected birds are males. The characteristic necropsy changes are seen in well-fleshed broilers with edema and generalized pulmonary congestion, recently ingested feed in the crop and gizzard, distended intestine with creamy content and empty gall bladder. The liver and kidneys are slightly enlarged and the latter have patchy areas of subcapsular hemorrhage. The heart contains clotted blood in the atria but the ventricles are often empty and the left ventricle in particular assumes a hypertrophied appearance (6 J.C. Ononiwu, R.G. Thomson, H.C. Carlson, and R.J. Julian). A syndrome specifically associated with broiler breeders. Clinical signs – Mortality ranging from 0.5 to 8% per week with most of the birds dying at feeding time. No evidence of respiratory infection. Commences as flock reaches about 5% production and being worst about 20-30% production. It is believed that this is most likely to be due to a mineral imbalance associated with low potassium as the flock comes into lay. Treatment including 3.5Kg/tonne of potassium carbonate has reduced the incidence (7 members.tripod.com/poultryworld/dis_dir.htm).

All the birds remaining in all affected flocks responded to the above treatment management and there was marked improvement in controlling of the syndrome. As todays broiler birds are genetically so engineered that they are suppose to achieve maximum body weight gain during the schedule period of 45days there is trend of using feed additives which also exerts some health problem in broiler as well they causes the problem like tibial dyschondroplacia in heavey weight broiler has been reported by many workers in Europe and elesewhere. As today universally a total of 30-35 grains are being contaminated with one or other toxigenic fungus whose deleterious effect on livestock and poultry health has been well documented were it causes sudden death also coincides with finding of this observation. Further more especially during hot humid season whish increases stress to birds as well as there is a conducive environment for the growth of mold and fungus also provides higher risk to the birds for the deleterious effect of mycotoxin in broiler health.Still today so far in the management of mycotoxin and mycosis only there is practice of using toxinbinders only during feed formulation process in feed mills.Which alone is not suffient to minimize effect to fungal contamination during storage if poultry especially broilers of finisher age have to protected some management pattern need to be changed.

Conclusion and recommendation:

All clinical laboratory and epidemiological patterns observed in this investigation indicates that broilers in good body weight condition when not harvested timely and remain in poultry shade for prolong time due to the congestion of space enhances a stress factor. Along with this with increase in humidity and hot season favors the growth of mold and fungus in stored feeds there was increasing the risk of birds to mycosis. Under such circumstances birds are in danger to be affected by mycotoxicosis under such situation if a proper preventive measure to prevent the deleterious effect of mycotoxin is not under taken any time an unexpected syndrome may appear in poultry establishment. As this was a sudden mortality in broiler has been reported for first time finding of this invested need to be looked into.

Pre-Refurbished Homes Can Be Handled in Quick Property Sales

Sometimes a home may be one that is not going to be able to be easily sold off on a standard market. This can come from many different factors but the most common factor could be because of how the home that is involved is one that has not been refurbished to the standards that are needed for today’s world. A good thing to see is that a quick property sale company can work to help with buying up a property that needs to be refurbished. This is used as a means of helping to get one’s home sold off with ease and without any type of concern.

A quick property sale buyer is a buyer that can work to buy up most any type of property that is located around the United Kingdom. This includes properties that might not be of the best condition. Homes that need to be refurbished as a means of making them at least inhabitable in today’s world are homes that can be handled by a quick property sale company. There is no need to worry about any concerns with regards to the property and its condition.

The transaction that is used for this type of property is a good one to take a look at. What happens here is that a valuation process is going to be used with regards to helping to see how much a property is going to be worth. After this process works a cash offer for one’s property is going to be offered. An important thing to see about this offer is that it will be one that is going to be worth less than that of what the offer would have been if the property was in a better condition. It will still be good enough in that the property will actually be bought up and an offer will actually be made on that property.

The reason as to why the property value will be lower for this type of property in a quick sale comes from how the property will be one that is going to be requiring some kind of repair. This is something that is going to be needed as a means of helping to make the home somewhat viable so that somebody can live in it. Even with these repairs the property will still be bought.

In addition to this the agency that buys the home can do one of two things with that home. First the agency can work with redeveloping the home and refurbishing it as a means of getting the home to become one that is modern in its feel and therefore useful for a person to live in.

The second option is that the agency can sell the property to a developer who can bulldoze the property and make a new type of development on that property. This is provided that the rights to develop things on the land can be done. If this is not the case then the refurbishing process will be used instead.

In summary a quick property sale can be used as a means of helping to get a home sold off even if it is in a pre-furbished state. A quick property sale will work as a means of making sure that a property is going to be sold no matter what condition it is in. The buyer of a property can then take that property and work in it in a number of ways including by redeveloping it or having it destroyed for something new on that site.

POWER OFF GRID: BENEFITS OF A POWER OFF GRID SYSTEM FOR YOUR HOME

POWER OFF GRID: BENEFITS OF A POWER OFF GRID SYSTEM FOR YOUR HOME

Power off grid systems are generally utilized in remote locations without the benefit of a utility grid. The power off grid system can also be used in an area where furbishing a power line to the local utility grid is prohibitively expensive, or in an area where blackouts and/or brownouts are frequent. With an off grid solar power system, you would be able to provide the energy necessary to light up a cabin, home or business.

Power off grid systems comprehensively alleviate a home’s dependency on utility electrical grids. Usually, the power off grid systems require a higher initial investment than grid-tie systems. The difference is because there is a greater demand on the power off grid system. A grid-tie system usually supplements a home’s energy demands, which reduces the amount of energy required from the utility grid. In contrast, a power off grid system is responsible for providing all power to the household appliances and tools.

CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT POWER OFF GRID SYSTEMS

When designing a power off grid system, it is best to take a holistic approach and envision the completed project from a “big picture” perspective. This strategy is even necessary when deciding something as simple as the type of light bulbs that will be utilized. Standard incandescent lighting is extremely energy inefficient, and as such, you may want to consider fluorescent or LED lighting instead.

Power off grid systems are usually bigger than most grid-tie systems. For the power off grid system to be fully independent, a system must have a greater array of energy-producing panels, which in turn requires more batteries to store the charge and more equipment to regulate the charge. However, even though the power off grid system requires a bigger initial investment, in the long run, a power off grid system may save you thousands in energy costs.

CLICK HERE TO BUILD SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS

Here are the main components to a power off grid system:

(1) Solar Array: A Solar Array is a group of solar panels which absorb solar energy and convert this to DC power. The number and type of solar panels will determine how much energy you can produce, as will your geographic location.

(2) PV Combiner Box: The PV Combiner Box usually includes GFCIs which protect your solar power system from equipment damage caused by power surges and short circuits. You can also shut down your solar power system at a moment’s notice, allowing for safe maintenance, repair, and inspection.

(3) Charge Controller: Your batteries will accept all electrical current running from the solar array, but overcharging can ruin them. Charge controllers ensure batteries don’t receive current when they’re charged to capacity, protecting your investment.

(4) DC Breaker Box: The DC Breaker Box includes a disconnect which will regulate the relationship between the battery bank and the inverter so it can be shut down at a moment’s notice to replace, repair, or inspect the batteries safely.

(5) Battery Bank: Batteries store the energy you collect through your array. Power off grid systems must collect enough energy to power your home or business until your batteries can be charged again.

(6) Inverter: Inverters take DC power and convert it to AC power. Most electrical systems (like that found in your home) run off of AC power.

(7) Back-up Generator: A back-up power supply is important to compensate for weather patterns which might otherwise disrupt your array’s collection.

Rich Shall not Allow Poor to Turn Rich

Rich shall not allow poor to turn rich

It is an accepted thing that some are rich because they had been snatching away something from the people who are poor now and this system is still on and it must be accepted that the rich would not allow the poor to turn rich. The rich people need a large number of people to serve upon them and only poor people can be engaged for service and the rich shall not be available to serve the rich. The rich can show to the world that they are rich and great only when there are a large number of poor people around them. Only the poor people are afraid of the rich and only the poor are the people who serve upon the rich and respect them.

The rich people are engaging the poor to serve them and they pay them wages which are always on the lower side and the poor are never allowed to bring their earnings at par with the rising prices. The rich are maintaining price level at such a stage where the poor shall not be able to purchase all the necessities of life with that income. We have seen that even in democracies where the principles given in the constitutions are telling the poor that they too are equal citizens, but all these entries are paper transactions and nothing more. No proper steps are taken so that the poor may also grow and become rich.

Even the states themselves are supporting the rich and the powerful and they are maintaining the poor people at the level where they are and at no stage these states are in a hurry to turn the poor rich. We have seen in India that the poor people who were having some hopes in the year 1947 are now frustrated because even in these six decades, they are still there where they were at the time of attaining independence. The people of India believe that one set of rulers had gone and another set of people have taken charge and they are behaving with the common people in the same way where the British had left them.

Time has come when the poor people shall have to come together and they shall have to decide their own fate. They shall get freedom from these sets of rich people and they shall see that they are having their share in the national economy. Even God has got no time to look after the poor. The poor shall have to take the reign in their own hands and they shall have to make it sure that none is allowed to take their share in the national economy. They shall have to catch all those who are enriching themselves through scams, scandals, muddles, bribes, corruption and taking commissions or by selling government offices. The properties and assets so collected shall have to be snatched away from these corrupt people and shall have to be confiscated to the state exchequer where those assets and money shall be utilized for the welfare of the people who had earned these assets and properties. The rich and powerful people are always short in number and the common people who are sufferers are always on the higher side and therefore, they must utilize their number power in elections and must win and must rule the country and see that our economic resources are utilized for the welfare of the people and the state should not be allowed to help only the rich and the powerful.

The present set of rich people shall not allow the poor to stand face to face with them and therefore, the poor shall have to take an initiative themselves and shall have to go ahead and shall have to see that their brothers are getting their proper share in the national income. The present distribution system is not good and it should be corrected. Why a rich is becoming more rich and why a poor person is being reduced to more poverty. This is a question which is written on the wall and we are just looking at this question. None of us is coming forward to answer this question in a right manner. In the present state of affairs all those who are ruling us are actually called public servants and servants should not be allowed to turn more rich and more powerful. Such a state of affairs is bankruptcy with the people and they are still slaves. In democracies, they should try to become masters and masters should not be poor and weak. Masters must have control over their servants and their work and conduct must be supervised properly.

                              ————————————

Rodney Crowell Outsider Rock Music CD Review

The exceptionally talented Rock artist Rodney Crowell has released him CD entitled Outsider. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Rodney Crowell fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Outsider Rodney Crowell’s artistic excellence is on full display as Crowell has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Rodney Crowell possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with him talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.

Listen to Outsider and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Rodney Crowell is clearly in top form. So much so that if you’re even mildly into Rock music you’ll enjoy this album.

While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 6 – Don’t Get Me Started, track 9 – Things That Go Bump In The Day, and track 11 – We Can’t Turn Back.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Say You Love Me. It’s a great track!

Dance With the One That Brought You

There’s an old saying that goes ‘dance with the one that brought you.’ That means that you do not abandon the principles and ideals that got you to where you are in life and business. That is especially true in business. Often the death knell for a business is a fundamental change in the way that business performs for customers.

While this sage advice is true, you also need to add to it the necessity to establish and maintain solid ways of keeping in contact with your customers and prospects. An 800 number and PBX system can be a major part of sending the message to those who contact you that you intend to keep doing what you do best in order to deliver the best product or service that has become the hallmark of your business.

Toll-free Contact. Provide a way for customers and prospects to contact you at no charge. This sends a powerful message to them that they are important to you. This 800 number should be plastered on all of your advertising efforts. In fact, satisfied 800 number owners testify to the increase in business brought about by the system.

Grows with You. There is nothing like the frustration of having to move from location to location as your business grows. It interrupts your business and puts you behind schedule. This is one area that a PBX system can shine. It keeps on working while you are stuffing your business belongings in a box and moving to a larger space. And, the best part about it is that your customers will not know the difference (unless you tell them). If you find that you need to add extensions and routing capabilities, it is all very simple to perform. And it is cost effective, too.

Makes You Personally Responsible. How frustrating it is to call a company that you do business with and be placed into a voicemail box where you leave a message and hope that someone contacts you soon. This option should be the last resort in a business PBX system, but often it is the first and only method. The properly programmed system routes calls to find ‘live’ persons first, then only as a last resort, routes to a voicemail box. This sends a message to your callers that they are important to you.

Delivers Great Customer Service. Customers and prospects have all come to expect the auto-attendant that is a major part of doing business. It is how you use this system, however, that can offer support options that help your customers and prospects to help themselves to free and valuable information. Also, routing their calls to departments or people lets them make the choices and gives you peace of mind that things are handled properly. You will come to appreciate the organization that this affords your business.

Keeps Them Coming Back. Once customers and prospects see how easy it is to do business with you because of your 800 number and PBX system, they will come back for more. And more often as well.

What a great vibe to send out to them. What a great dance you will be doing with the one that brought you.

Get Out of the Office and Truly “Unplug” on Your Grand Canyon River Rafting Trip with Arizona River Runners

At Arizona River Runners, we happen to think that we have the best job in the world. So, we’ve decided to share it with anyone who wants to come along. When you join one of our rafting excursions, you’ll have no problem understanding why we love to go to work everyday. Compare a day in our “office” to a day in yours:

We start our day with coffee and breakfast in the majestic setting of one of the most amazing places in the world. We’re not fighting traffic, and you’ll see how starting your day floating through the morning calm of the Colorado River feeds your soul instead of draining it.

No fluorescent lighting for us, and forget about staring at the glare of a computer screen or those tired old memos from the boss posted on your cubicle walls throughout the day. We enjoy some of the most amazing scenery in the world, experienced from a vantage point that most people never see.

No ringing phones, overflowing inboxes, expense reports and tiresome tasks. There’s a rhythm to the days, but our trips are far from routine. Every bend in the river brings a fresh perspective and the chance to experience something new – you might be facing the adrenaline pumping rush of rapids, or the chance to float lazily for a while and take in the scenery.

Been doing the same ol’, same ol’ on the job for years? Our trips are fantastic learning experiences. Our guides will share a wealth of knowledge and some pretty incredible stories throughout the trip. Ask them questions and soak up as much as you can. From learning to read river conditions and practicing environmentally responsible camping techniques to Grand Canyon history and folklore, our guides will keep you informed every step of the way.

On an ARR trip, you’ll experience teamwork and bond with the others on your trip in a way you’ll probably never see in the office. No gossip in the breakroom, no competition for the big promotion. We are a team led by some of the most knowledgeable guides in the business, successfully navigating the challenges of one of the most awe-inspiring bodies of water in the world. You just might develop a new definition for the word “success” after sharing some time in our workplace.

Wide Width Shoes For People With Wide Feet

If you want to buy a new pair of shoes, you would imagine that’s something quite easy to do. You would expect to find shoes of all sizes, designs, and materials. But, when it comes to wide shoes, is that really so?

Most of the manufacturers make shoes of sizes and shapes that meet the requirements of a majority of persons. But even if there is a sizeable majority, there is always a minority. About two-thirds of all people have medium width feet, while one-third have wide feet.

Those people whose feet are wider than average will find them at a disadvantage. Regular width available shoes will not fit them correctly and in no time, the person will realize how uncomfortable the shoes are. Walking and even standing in them will be a major problem. Even if one is prepared to undergo the pain and discomfort, the shoe itself will give way. It will be torn at the place where the foot exerts pressure due to the foot’s wide width. The person will undergo torture and then ruin the shoe.

Does the remedy lie in having custom-made wide width shoes? If a person decides to follow this course, she or he will realize how hurtful it is to the wallet. Custom made wide width shoes may well be unaffordable for a substantial number of persons and do not always work as well as you would expect. Often times the styling is very unattractive as well.

The manufacturers have figured out that even this minority is sufficiently large enough to produce a very nice range of wide width products. If they cater to the special need for wide width shoes, they will have a sizeable market. Persons with wide feet need not worry. They do not have to undergo the torture of wearing ill-fitting shoes, or have to spend a fortune to have custom wide width shoes made.

You can find information on a wide variety of wide width shoes for Men and Women at www.daveswideshoes.com

Therefore, if you have wide feet, you can relax and go online and find a great alternative that will ensure that your feet feel comfortable, healthy and relaxed as well.
